Zoom - Set Up and Basics

To use Zoom at Naropa: You can use Zoom's website or download and install Zoom to your desktop.


Downloading and Installing Zoom:

Visit zoom.us/download on your computer.

Click on the "Download" button under "Zoom Client for Meetings" to download the Zoom application.

Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install Zoom on your computer.

For mobile devices, search for "Zoom" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install the app.


Logging in to Zoom's website

Start by visiting https://naropa.zoom.us/ and clicking "Sign In." 

Use your Naropa email and password to log in. 


Signing in to Zoom (Desktop)

Launch the Zoom application on your PC and click 'SSO'.


Type in "Naropa" for the company domain and then confirm your email address.


 

 

Step 2: Navigation

Once you're logged in on the browser, you can access the following options from the top-right menu:



Join: Use this option to join a meeting that someone else has scheduled.

Host: Use this option to start a meeting on the fly, which will give you a shareable URL.

Web App: Access some of the options available in the web app version of Zoom
